Aren’t turtles and the larger ones, tortoises, with the spectacular protective shells amazing? I have a beautiful memory of my mother picking up a very large one in the road and moving it to a stream near their house. Wouldn’t it be interesting to be a creature who lived inside your own mobile home on feet? 😘
Oh they sure are. In German they are called "toads with shields". In many other Germanic languages too. I love that. I would also love to live in my very own mobile home.
Dear Evelyne, so much of what I was going to say has already been said by all the comments thus far!! I do think that this new found Artistic YOU is just Wonderful and I am so happy it is consuming so much of your “me time”! It amazes me that you could ride your bike to and back with multiple canvas’. I am sure that walk with the new knives, canvas’ and the 2 liters of fluid uphill would have been a challenge for me totally but glad you got the train albeit crowded and got home with some of the supplies you needed! It sounds as if that HUGE art store’s upstairs with the books and a Bistro is a place you will be back to often. I totally agree with you about going places when there are as few people as possible! Your Organization skills by colors 🌈, just astound me!! It sounds as if both your weekends and your work week are a combination effort on your part that you organize so well! I believe that I am with Judith with my limitations due in my case to my slowness and lack of any organizational skills! I am sure that your book writing will have many chapters within it that you have yet to have thought of thus far or will be in a colored folder for your next book 📖!! In closing, I must say about the turtle comments! I have always loved turtles both live as well as I always had a turtle collection made up of many types of materials but said collection has dwindled over the years! I am so glad that live turtle was redirected back to the safety of the water and I do love the mobile home reference of the turtle 🐢 with legs!! I do so hope you & all had a Wonderful Sunday!
