Great Sunday post! Getting that rail pass IS really expensive but the way you use it is so very valuable, don’t know how you’d get around without it. It’s not a luxury item at all the way you use it. Yup, cold 🥶 out side here but don’t go there. Your new logo I love; the spirals inside are fabulous! Have a great day! 😘

I'm with you 100% on the base cause, Evelyne. I've been aware for the past 30 years that America has been going through a second "Guilded Age"... but the general public has been dumbed-down and distracted enough that they don't even realize it

Before he died, my father was always making the point, "David... my world view was off. For too long I thought that the core problem was Left and Right. I was wrong. The root of the trouble is really financially Up and Down."

Distractions - so many of them. It's insane. Difficult to see through the smoke.

Smart man your dad. Thanks for sharing that. Hugs.

Miro's work was an early like of mine due to art books my parents had. At first I didn't think I knew of Hundertwasser, but once I caught a glimpse I realized I just didn't remember the name.

Good place for an elevator! Thank you for the beautiful glimpses of what you see.

And yes, maps, and history. Though it looks like the old river bed is just lakes now, unless they are hiding culverts under the highway. Looks like I'll have to dig deeper for more history, as the main mention has been as a major route for Jews escaping WW2 Germany.

I fear for so many of us as there is more and more destabilization of systems, lands, and waters.

Glad you like my glimpses 😊.

I really should know more about that route and Jews escaping WW2 Germany. My great-grandfather was one of the people who helped them make it across the border right around that area.

I share your fear - it's madness out there. Hugs.
