I’d like to issue an official apology to anybody who I ever made fun of for riding an e-bike. Especially to the people of the Netherlands. Your country may be flat, but that wind! Yikes squared. I don’t think I’d have moved an inch if it hadn’t been for my e-bike. And I certainly wouldn’t have cycled 40+ kilometers in one day.
I would also like to apologize to the Dutch weather. After I said it was going to be another miserable day with lots of rain and just gray, gray, gray – it completely cleared up and it was the most beautiful day. Cold and super windy, but sunny!
I just had to go on a two-hour bike ride and a five-hour walk - mostly on sand along the beach. I was absolutely exhausted after, but so very happy. Sauna to end the day on another high.
Any thoughts on e-bikes, weather, sauna? Go for it!
I second Judith!!! With triple exclamation. I cannot comment on bikes E or otherwise. Have not been on a bike in more than twenty years, for good reason (another time for that...). As to weather, the only comment on yours would be Jolly Good Show for the sun to finally come out! Would have been nicer if it were warmer. About the same here so, once again I'd have to say, other than the bit about the sand, sounds like you're in Tennessee, unlucky you if you were, lucky you, therefore, to be where you are! And, once again, to echo Judith, happy you are enjoying it all! Though I'm not as talented as she with the glorious emojis...
